After a dismal performance in the first innings, Indian batsmen have shown just why they are considered one of the best by surviving the final assault by the Kiwi bowlers to draw the test match.

The Kiwis asked the visitors to follow on with at least 180 overs remaining in the test match to pick up 10 Indian wickets and it looked inevitable that the series will be leveled. But against all odds, the Indian batsmen lead by Gambhir & Laxman managed to survive all the 6 sessions.

Gauti scored his 5th test hundred, his slowest ever, with a resilient 137 off 438 balls(18 fours) while Very very Special Laxman carved a sensible 124 off 212 balls(25 fours). Sachin, Dravid & Yuvraj played a key role & helped India save wickets & kill time.
